FDA Cleared not FDA approved., 2008-05-30
The HairMax Laser Comb was FDA cleared, they promote the comb as if the FDA tested it for trials, it was only for safety, with hair loss and any treatment safety is an issue, but above all we want something that works! Please do not be misled by FDA approval they know 99% of people just look at FDA approval and figure " hey it has to work", please save your money, there were many lasers before this hence why anyone can get FDA approval (The same sort of lasers have already proven to be SAFE) again safety matters but if you are going to blow all this cash you can get one on ebay or any hair loss site for less than $100, please use real FDA APPROVED hair loss treatments that being Rogaine Liquid/FOAM and Propecia, please remember this product is NOT fda approved only fda cleared meaning the lasers will not cause harm to you, but you can get that anywhere. Please go with Rogaine and Propecia, This Hairmax COMB has been on hair loss boards for years and NOT ONE person had a positive review of it. The studies done on women have NOT been published yet, this is directly from their website, and the one done on men is very minor and the photos are a joke, hair is not even the same color in the photos! Please save your cash, you can get a whole year of Propecia/Rogaine for less than this, and it is PROVEN, FDA APPROVED not just " FDA Cleared".
God bless!

the best har loss remedy so far, 2008-05-15
I have been using the comb with revivogen for about 10 weeks, and I am very pleased with the results. The bald spot in the crown is getting smaller, and I can see lots of hair growing along the hairline, some of which have become terminal hairs. I am using the comb all over the scalp and the revivogen only on the crown and the temples. Previously, I used rogaine with mixed results. So here is my conclusion so far: 1. the comb works 2. revivogen probably helps (I will eventually cut it out) 3. rogaine only prevents the folicles from dying, but does not help grow anything. But thanks to rogaine, since the follicle did not die, the comb+revivogen is able to bring them back to full life. I really like the comb. It's a relaxing ritual, and it fluffs up your hair.

Hairmax works but it takes time and energy commitment., 2008-04-24
I did not expect the Hairmax to work, or at least was skeptical. However, three and half months into every other day usage, I am pleased to report that it does indeed strengthen existent hair and bolster growth in adjacent areas.
My scalp was spotty in several areas and I was wanting to get a more even, full covering of hair. The Hairmax has succeeded in achieving this for me.
What may discourage some users is the fact that the device requires a 12-15 minute time and effort commitment three times a week. In other words, one must attentively follow the directions and treat entire scalp and areas needing special attention. It becomes a routine, a meditation.
Experience however is showing results, so I would recommend this device with the proviso to be willing to use it steadily. At 43 it has worked to fill in the front of my hair, something I felt was perhaps not possible. If you are willing to take the time, the Hairmax is worth the money.

Do not buy this product!!!, 2008-04-24
I've been using this product for almost three months and doing exactly as directed and my hair loss in the front has accelerated. I keep thinking it will get better but it does not. I'm seeing more hairs in the sink and less on my head. I cannot believe that I paid almost $400 for a product that has given me even more hair loss. What a waste of money!
Another thing, if you look at the Before and After Photo, it looks like the guy's hair is really watered or weighed down on the before photo to make it look thinner. It looks like they purposely did this just to make the difference look more dramatic.

I will not be able to see results from this product for another 4 to 8 weeks. However, your speed of delivery was excellent.
